Olympic Rings Stamped on Vancouver Ecstasy Tablets – Just in Time to Welcome the World!

The Vancouver police held yet another “”table full of drugs”" press conference today to show off their latest ecstasy seizure. They had a table full of bagged colored ecstasy tabs worth about a million dollars. So here we go again with another dog and pony show from police bragging about a drug bust. Don’t they realize that all they’ve done is create a job opportunity for another dealer and potentially increased the price of ecstasy (but not likely) thereby creating higher profits for the drug dealers.

Sigh. Sometimes people just can’t see the forest for the tree’s.

At least this story has a humorous side to it. It turns out that the makers of the e the cops scored were pressed using a stamp with the olympic rings on it. That’s some wicked marketing if you ask me. I’m sure the olympic douche bags at VANOC aren’t too pleased but boo hoo. And lets be honest, I bet for the younger crowd the night they do olympic e will be just as memorable to them as being at any olympic sporting event.

The CBC is hosting a full clip of the press conference spectacle here.
